 Sometimes it pays to get a slightly older model. Much like the way a car immediately depreciates as soon as you leave the car lot, slightly older technology can quickly and dramatically drop in price. So, what does this model lack compared to the newer high-def televisions?

 Samsung, once known for cheap, second-rate products, has become one of the leaders in HDTV technology and innovation.
